Wall & Ceiling Primer

Wall and ceiling primer is a preparatory coating applied before painting to ensure a smooth, adhesive-friendly surface. Acting as a sealant, it prevents uneven absorption, enhances paint adhesion, and increases the durability and visual consistency of the final finish. Ideal for both new surfaces and repainting jobs, primers are a must-have for professional-grade painting results.

USES

Wall and ceiling primers are essential for:

  • Preparing new drywall, plaster, or textured surfaces
  • Covering stains, marks, or strong existing colors before repainting
  • Sealing porous surfaces to reduce paint absorption
  • Ensuring strong paint adhesion on ceilings, interior walls, and even masonry
  • Creating a uniform base for light or drastic color transitions

METHOD OF USE

Surface Preparation

  • Clean the surface to remove dust, grease, mildew, or peeling paint
  • Patch holes and sand uneven areas for a smoother base
  • Ensure the surface is dry and structurally sound before application

Application

  • Apply with a brush, roller, or spray gun depending on surface and area size
  • One uniform coat is usually sufficient, but a second coat may be applied if needed
  • Let dry fully before applying the topcoat (typically 1–4 hours depending on type and humidity)

KEY FEATURES

  • Enhanced Adhesion: Creates a bond between the surface and paint, reducing flaking and peeling
  • Uniform Finish: Smooths out minor surface flaws and evens color absorption
  • Sealing Power: Blocks stains, odors, and porous spots for clean coverage
  • Improved Paint Efficiency: Reduces the number of topcoats needed, saving time and material
  • Stain & Odor Resistance: Especially with stain-blocking primers, ideal for ceilings or problem walls
  • Compatibility: Available in variants suitable for drywall, cement, textured finishes, and ceilings

PRECAUTIONS

  • Always use in well-ventilated areas and wear protective gear
  • Test primer on a small area to check for compatibility or reactions
  • Avoid application on damp, greasy, or unstable surfaces

  • Promotes strong adhesion to drywall, plaster, and ceiling surfaces.

  • Seals porous areas to prevent uneven paint absorption and staining.

  • Creates a smooth base for even, high-quality paint finishes.

  • Low-VOC, non-toxic formula safe for interior residential use.

  • Paint-ready surface enhances color vibrancy & brush stroke .

  • Durable under humidity, temperature changes, and light wall wear.

  • Applies easily by brush, roller, or spray with fast drying time.

  • Improves topcoat coverage & reduces number of paint layers needed.

STORAGE
